These rules describe the procedure for returning goods, returning rented equipment, cancelling services and receiving refunds when dealing with Circus Workshops LLC. They apply to orders placed through the Website, by email, telephone, messengers and under contracts with the company.

If an order is placed by an individual for personal, family, household or other needs not connected with business activity, the Russian Consumer Protection Law and other consumer rules apply. Orders by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are governed by the contract and the Russian Civil Code. A specific contract applies insofar as it does not restrict mandatory consumer rights. If the Russian and English texts differ, the Russian text prevails.

1. How to submit a request

Send a request to info@circusmaster.ru or to the postal address of Circus Workshops LLC. State the order or contract number, customer name, contact telephone number, goods, equipment or service, reason for the request and preferred contact method.

If the request concerns a defect in goods, equipment or service, attach a defect description, photographs or video, acceptance certificate, contract, payment document or other order confirmation. Absence of a cash or sales receipt does not by itself deprive a consumer of the right to rely on other proof of purchase.

2. Distance sale of goods

If goods are purchased remotely, a consumer may refuse them at any time before transfer and within seven days after transfer. If written information on the procedure and time limits for returning goods of proper quality was not provided upon transfer, the refusal period is three months from transfer.

Goods of proper quality are accepted for return if their marketable condition, consumer properties and purchase confirmation are preserved. A payment document helps locate the order faster, but a consumer may use other proof that the goods were purchased from Circus Workshops LLC.

A consumer may not refuse goods of proper quality with individually defined properties if those goods can be used only by that consumer. This may apply to items made or modified for an individual technical specification, dimensions, marking or configuration.

When goods of proper quality are refused, Circus Workshops LLC refunds the amount paid no later than 10 days from the request date. Return delivery costs from the consumer may be deducted where incurred by the seller and permitted by law.

3. Exchange and return of goods of proper quality in ordinary sale

If goods were not transferred remotely, a consumer may exchange non-food goods of proper quality within 14 days, excluding the purchase day, if the goods do not fit by form, dimensions, style, colour, size or configuration.

Exchange is made if the goods were not used and their marketable condition, consumer properties, seals and factory labels are preserved. If similar goods are not available on the request date, the consumer may refuse the sale contract and request a refund. Funds are returned within the statutory period.

The list of goods of proper quality that cannot be exchanged on this ground is approved by the Russian Government. If a specific item falls within that list, exchange or return of goods of proper quality is made only where provided by law or contract.

4. Goods or equipment with defects

If the buyer or lessee finds a defect in goods, rented equipment or a delivered kit, use should stop where further operation may damage property or create a risk to people, and Circus Workshops LLC should be notified.

For sold goods, a consumer may make claims provided by the Russian Consumer Protection Law: replacement, price reduction, free defect removal, reimbursement of defect-removal expenses, contract refusal and refund where provided by law.

For rented equipment, the rental contract and the Russian Civil Code apply. The lessor provides property in a condition matching the contract and the property's purpose, together with accessories and documents unless the contract provides otherwise. If the lessee cannot use the property as intended without accessories or documents, the lessee may demand their provision, contract termination and damages where provided by law.

5. Rental and return of equipment

Rented equipment is returned at the time, place and completeness stated in the contract and acceptance certificate. Equipment is returned in the condition in which it was received, allowing for normal wear, or in the condition expressly agreed in the contract.

Upon return, the parties check completeness, appearance, operability, accessories, documents, packaging or transport cases if they were provided. The result is recorded in an act, order note or another agreed method.

If equipment is returned late, Circus Workshops LLC may charge rent for the delay period and claim damages where provided by the contract and law. If equipment is lost, damaged beyond normal wear or returned incomplete, repair, restoration, replacement or missing-item costs are considered in settlement and deposit calculation.

6. Cancellation of services, installation and delivery

A consumer may cancel a service or work contract at any time provided the actual expenses incurred by Circus Workshops LLC in performing the contract are paid. Such expenses may include work already performed, kit preparation, specialist travel, delivery, materials purchased for the order and other confirmed expenses.

If a service has defects, a consumer may demand free defect removal, price reduction, reimbursement of expenses for removing defects independently or through third parties, and may refuse the contract and claim damages where provided by law.

For customers acting as legal entities or individual entrepreneurs, cancellation, payment for work actually performed, expense compensation and liability are governed by the contract and the Russian Civil Code.

7. Deposit, prepayment and refunds

Prepayment is refunded according to the refusal ground, order stage, contract terms and mandatory law. Where law or contract permits deduction of actual expenses, delivery cost, work performed, rent for actual use or property damage, those amounts are deducted after calculation and confirmation.

A rental deposit is returned after the equipment is returned and checked for completeness, condition, return timing and absence of debt. If damage, shortage, late return or unpaid services are found, the relevant amounts may be offset against the deposit as provided by the contract and law.

Funds are returned by the same method used for payment unless the parties agree another lawful method. Timing depends on the claim basis, law, contract and processing by the bank or payment system.

8. Sending goods or equipment back

Agree the return method with Circus Workshops LLC before sending anything back. Equipment, heavy goods and stage rigging must be transported in a way that protects people, property and completeness. If packaging is needed for safe transport, use the provided transport case or equivalent protection.

Return delivery costs are allocated according to the return ground, contract and law. In a distance-sale refusal of goods of proper quality, the seller may deduct return delivery costs from the consumer to the extent permitted by law.

9. Request review

Circus Workshops LLC reviews the request, checks documents and the condition of goods or equipment, and sends the decision using the customer's stated contact. If diagnostics, expert review, on-site inspection or additional documents are needed, the response period may depend on the practical ability to carry out the check and on legal requirements.

These rules do not replace the contract, acceptance certificate, warranty terms or mandatory legal rules. If any condition conflicts with mandatory consumer rights, the law applies.
